Last weekend, my good friend (Ponicoto) from France arrived in Hawai’i to get married and make the most of the remainder of the winter season.

The beginning of the week greeted us with less than ideal conditions; Country-side washed out with too much North and gale-force trades.

Ponicoto is a parochial man who refuses to think about anything outside the sphere of bodyboarding, so like a meth addict frothing for a hit, he needed his bodyboarding fix.
Sandy Beach was the only option and although it was pretty small and junky, we made the most of it.
